Judge Elizabeth Rose Feffer received her B.A. in Communication Studies cum laude from University of California Los Angeles in 1990, her M.A. in Communication Management from University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication in 1993, and her J.D. from University of Southern California School of Law in 1993. After passing the California bar in 1993, she worked at Burke, Williams & Sorensen LLP from 1993-2004 and then at Jones & Mayer from 2005-2007. Her practice focused on defending municipalities in civil actions as well as serving as the city attorney for the City of Lomita. She was also the city prosecutor for the City of Downey, and the deputy city prosecutor for greater than a dozen cities in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, and Riverside. She was appointed to the bench in 2007 by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. She is a republican.
