PLAINTIFF'S REQUEST FOR ENTRY OF DEFAULT JUDGMENT

I.          BACKGROUND

On August 2, 2023, Plaintiff Eastern Funding LLC filed its Complaint against Defendants Roundtree Towing and Recovery Services, LLC and Alfonzie Green on causes of action arising from allegedly missed loan payments.

On October 26, 2023, the Court entered default on Defendant Roundtree Towing and Recovery Services, LLC.

On November 2, 2023, the Court entered default on Alfonzie Green.

On February 13, 2024, Plaintiff filed:

(1)       Judicial Council Form CIV-100, Request for Court Judgment;

(2)       Judicial Council Form CIV-110, Request for Dismissal;

(3)       Declaration of Craig Nadolny;

(4)       Summary of the Case; and

(5)       Proposed Judgment.

II.       ANALYSIS

        Plaintiff has filed a Request for Dismissal that has not yet been considered by the Clerk’s Office. At Plaintiff’s request, the fourth cause of action for conversion and the Doe defendants are DISMISSED without prejudice from the Complaint.

        The Request for Default Judgment is GRANTED.

        Default Judgment is AWARDED in favor of Plaintiff and against Defendants, jointly and severally, in the total amount of $85,565.03 as indicated below:
