Judge Gregory Horrell Lewis attended Long Beach City College and California State University, Long Beach for undergrad, graduating in 1963. He received his J.D. from Western State University College of Law in 1973 and passed the California bar in 1979. He joined Tad Hagee’s law practice and was later appointed to the municipal court bench in 1988 by Governor George Deukmejian. He became a superior court judge in 1998 through the court unification.
