Judge Mark C. Kim received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1985 and his J.D. from Cornell University in 1988. After passing the California bar in 1989, he worked at McKenna, Conner & Cuneo in Los Angeles focusing his practice on corporate transactions. In 1990, he joined the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office where he remained until he was appointed to the bench in 1998 by Governor Pete Wilson.
