Judge Nick Alex Dourbetas received his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine in 1994 and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1997. After passing the bar in 1997, he became a deputy district attorney prosecuting serious felonies. He changed his name from “Nico” to “Nick” before he was elected to the bench in 2010.
