Judge Paul Anthony Bacigalupo received his B.S. from Santa Clara University in 1981 and his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific in 1987. After passing the California bar in 1988, he worked as a judicial clerk for the U.S. Immigration Court in Los Angeles before going into private practice, focusing on civil litigation, construction defense, employment, insurance, and immigration, later joining Castle & Lax. He was also appointed to the State Bar Court, was a director of Dispute Resolution Services, and associated with JAMS/Endispute. He was elected to the bench in 2002.
