Judge Timothy Patrick Dillon received a double B.S. degree summa cum laude in advanced accounting and economics from the State University of New York at Albany, and then his J.D. from the College of William and Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 1981. He passed the New York bar in 1982 and worked as an associate at Golenbock & Barell until 1986 when he passed the California bar. Thereafter, he was an associate at Wyman, Bautzer, Kuchel & Silbert from 1986-1988 until he joined Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs, Howard, Avchen & Shapiro LLP, where he remained as a partner until 1993. From 1993-2000 he was a partner at Shernoff, Bidart, Echeverria & Bentley, and then started the Law Offices of Timothy P. Dillon until he was appointed to the bench in 2015 by Governor Jerry Brown.
