Plaintiff Ivan Jimenez’s Motion to Compel the Deposition of Defendant Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC’s Person Most Qualified is GRANTED pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 2025.450. The deposition of Defendant’s person most qualified shall take place within 21 calendar days of the notice of ruling.

In the opposition, Defendant does not dispute that Plaintiff is entitled to take the deposition of Defendant’s person most qualified. Defendant also states that there are “no deposition categories in dispute.” Accordingly, the Motion is GRANTED.

The request for sanctions is GRANTED in the amount of $900, which is due to Plaintiff within 30 calendar days of the notice of ruling. Code Civ. Proc., § 2025.450(g). The parties agreed that the deposition at issue shall take place on March 29, 2023. When noticing this deposition, Plaintiff was amenable to a seven-month delay to accommodate Defendant’s schedule. Then, Defendant canceled the deposition two days before it was set to take place and has yet to propose a new deposition date.  Plaintiff has been attempting to conduct this deposition approximately one year.
