Tentative Ruling

On June 3, 2022, Plaintiffs Cristino Bailon, Enrique Vaca, and Francisco Pastor Gonzalez brought this action to sue Defendant Uber Technologies, Inc., Rasier, LLC, Rasier-CA LLC, and Does 1 through 100 pursuant to (1)-(9) nine Labor Code claims and (10) a Business and Professions Code unfair business practices claim.

On October 6, 2022, all three Defendants filed a joint petition to compel arbitration of Plaintiffs' claims pursuant to an arbitration agreement with Plaintiffs.

On March 22, 2023, all three Plaintiffs and all three Defendants stipulated to binding arbitration.

The October 6th motion by Defendants is therefore MOOT.  The parties are ordered to binding arbitration pursuant to their stipulation. This action is STAYED pending completion of arbitration.  The Court sets an OSC re: arbitration on March 11, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
