Richard Song’s Motion to Be Relieved as Counsel for Defendants Jixian Du, Jian Ming Huang, and Whole New Cabinet, Inc.

Defense counsel Richard Song moves to be relieved as counsel for defendants Jixian Du, Jian Ming Huang, and Whole New Cabinet, Inc.  “The notice of motion and motion [to be relieved as counsel], the declaration, and the proposed order must be served on the client and on all other parties who have appeared in the case.”  (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 3.1362(d).)

Richard Song did not file a proof of service on his clients or plaintiff Shaowei Huang.  Neither the notice of motion and motion, the declaration, nor the proposed order include an attached proof of service.  Song also did not file a separate proof of service.

The motion is hereby continued to August 29, 2022, at 9:00 a.m.

Attorney Richard Song is ordered to serve the moving papers and notice of the continued hearing date on his clients and on plaintiff Shaowei Huang and to file a proof of service.
