Case Number: BC015773    Hearing Date: July 25, 2022    Dept: 52

Tentative Ruling:

Judgment Creditor’s Assignee Sherman H. Pore’s Motion to Temporarily Suspend Sale of Property Under Writ of Execution

Judgment creditor’s assignee Sherman H. Pore moves to temporarily suspend the sale of the property at 310 E. 80th Street/8000 S. San Pedro, Los Angeles, CA.  Pore previously moved for an order for sale of the property, which the court granted.

The present motion states a public sale was scheduled for June 29, 2022, and that Pore requests to temporarily suspend the sale because he “has been made aware of possible procedural irregularities preventing the sale in accordance with California law.”  Pore does not explain those irregularities.  He did not file a sworn declaration or any other evidence in support of this motion.  He also did not file a proof of service of this motion.  Finally, unless the sale was already suspended for other reasons, it happened nearly one month ago.  The motion is therefore moot.

The motion is denied.
