Plaintiff Patricia Suarez’s (“Plaintiff”) attorney of record, Arturo T. Salinas, Esq. of Law Office of Jacob Emrani (“Counsel”), seeks to be relieved as counsel asserting that the relationship between Counsel and Plaintiff has deteriorated to the point where the firm is no longer able to represent Plaintiff.  Counsel declares it served the moving papers on Plaintiff via mail at Plaintiff’s last known address.  Counsel has filed proof of service on Plaintiff and on Defendant. 

The motion is unopposed and granted; the ruling is effective upon filing proof of service of the final order.  The Court notes trial is not scheduled until June 21, 2023.  Therefore, there is sufficient time for Plaintiff to seek other counsel or otherwise prepare prior for trial.

Counsel is ordered to give notice.

• Parties are encouraged to meet and confer after reading this tentative ruling to see if they can reach an agreement.
