Clune Construction Company, L.P. (“Clune”) filed this motion for leave to file a First Amended Answer (“FAA”) on March 29, 2022, setting it for hearing on September 20, 2022.  The Court then granted Clune’s ex parte application to specially set the hearing for Clune’s motion for leave to file a FAA and scheduled this motion for August 9, 2022.  Clune’s motion for leave to file a FAA was granted on that date.

Therefore, Clune’s motion is taken off calendar as moot.   

Moving Defendant Clune is ordered to give notice.

• Parties are encouraged to meet and confer after reading this tentative ruling to see if they can reach an agreement.
• If a party intends to submit on this tentative ruling, the party must send an email to the court at sscdept31@lacourt.org with the Subject line “SUBMIT” followed by the case number.  The body of the email must include the hearing date and time, counsel’s contact information, and the identity of the party submitting.
