On August 2, 2022, Defendant Mahmoud Vahedian Ghaffari (“Defendant”) filed this motion to continue the previous trial date of August 30, 2022, at least 90 days.  On August 16, 2022, at a Final Status Conference the trial date was continued to January 12, 2023, pursuant to an oral stipulation. 

Therefore, the motion to continue trial is moot and taken off-calendar.  The Court asks counsel to promptly take all matters off-calendar when they become moot.

Defendant is ordered to give notice.

• Parties are encouraged to meet and confer after reading this tentative ruling to see if they can reach an agreement.
