[TENTATIVE] ORDER DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL
Dept. 31
1:30 p.m.
December 5, 2022
|
Plaintiff Marcelino Cortez Estrada’s (“Plaintiff”) attorney of record, Alex Megeredchian, Esq. (“Counsel”), moves to be relieved as counsel for Plaintiff. Counsel contends relief is necessary because Plaintiff is unresponsive to Counsel’s communication attempts and Plaintiff is not cooperating.
This matter was last heard on October 21, 2022, where pursuant to Plaintiff’s counsel’s request, the hearing was continued to December 5, 2022. Plaintiff’s counsel was ordered to give notice. However, to date, no such notice with proof of service on Plaintiff and Defendants has been filed.
Based on the foregoing, the motion is denied without prejudice.
