[TENTATIVE] ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL Dept. 31 1:30 p.m. August 26, 2022 |
Plaintiff Anthony Gayfield’s (“Plaintiff”) counsel of record, Bish & Cutting, APC and Law Offices of Larry H. Parker (“Counsel”), seek to be relieved as counsel attesting that the attorney-client relationship has deteriorated such that Counsel cannot represent Plaintiff. Counsel declares it served the moving papers on Plaintiff via mail at the client’s last known address. Counsel has filed proof of service on Plaintiff and on Defendants.
The motion is unopposed and granted; the ruling is effective upon filing proof of service of the final order. The Court notes the next scheduled matter is a Final Status Conference set for March 8, 2023, and trial is not scheduled until March 22, 2023. Therefore, there is sufficient time for Plaintiff to seek other counsel or otherwise prepare prior to trial.
Counsel is ordered to give notice.
