Petitioner Chad Mason (“Petitioner”) filed the instant petition concerning minor Josie L. Mason (“Claimant”) on September 26, 2022, which is only two days before the hearing date. A petition to approve a minor’s compromise requires at least 15 days notice prior to the hearing. (Prob. Code §§ 1460, 2506.)

Therefore, the hearing on the petition is taken off calendar. Petitioner must comply with all filing and notice requirements when re-filing the petition.
