The Motion for Final Approval of Class Settlement brought by plaintiff Jacqueline Coronado individually and on behalf of other members of the general public similarly situated (hereinafter, Plaintiff) is GRANTED.
The motion is unopposed. Given the risks of litigation and the range of probable results, the settlement, taken as a whole, appears to be fair, reasonable, and adequate to all concerned. The Court FINDS the settlement agreement was fair and reasonable. The Court FINDS the settlement agreement fair and reasonable. The Court approves the following allocations: --$494,444.84 – amount to be distributed to Class Members --$346,500.00 – attorney fees --$ 18,055.16 – litigation costs --$ 20,000.00 – enhancement to two lead plaintiffs ($10,000.00 each) --$ 11,000.00 – costs of settlement administration --$100,000.00 – PAGA payment to LWDA --$990,000.00 – total payment by defendant The Court further approves the class definition as follows: all non-exempt, hourly employees who were employed by Defendant Fashionphile Group LLC in California at any time during the period from December 11, 2017 through June 2, 2023.
