CASE TITLE: CASE TYPE:

Civil - Unlimited  Other employment Motion to Quash (Civil) 37-2023-00029395-CU-OE-CTL GONZALEZ VS MORADI [IMAGED] CAUSAL DOCUMENT/DATE FILED: Motion to Quash Subpoena, 09/01/2023

Plaintiff Kimberly Gonzalez' Motion to Quash Subpoenas of Plaintiff's Prior Employment Records is CONTINUED to January 12, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in Department 70.

Based on the opposition and reply, it appears the parties are close to resolving the issues related to this motion and the Court appreciates their efforts. The parties agree they entered into a 'First Look Agreement.' It also appears a few items remain. Plaintiff has not received Defendants' execution of the joint letter to First Legal or proof it was sent. This gives pause for concern because Plaintiff also has not received the documents she is supposed to receive as part of the 'first look.' Defendants are ordered to show proof to Plaintiff of their execution and service of the joint letter to First Legal by December 19, 2023. The parties are also ordered to work together with First Legal to ensure the First Look Agreement is honored by First Legal.

If this resolves the outstanding issues regarding the First Look Agreement and the motion as a whole, Plaintiff is ordered to call the Court's calendar clerk and take the motion off calendar by December 21, 2023.

If the outstanding issues regarding the First Look Agreement and the motion as a whole are not resolved, Defendants may file a supplemental opposition of no more than three pages by December 26, 2023, apprising the Court of why the First Look Agreement has not been finalized, sent to First Legal and enforced. Plaintiff may reply with a supplemental brief of no more than three pages by December 30, 2023.

The Court expects the parties to work together to resolve these remaining issues.
