APPLICATION AND VERIFIED APPLICATION FOR PRO HAC VICE ADMISSION FOR DANIELLE
PASCALE is GRANTED.
Background
This is a complaint for personal injuries and
damages arising from childhood sexual abuse.
On July 15, 2022, Plaintiffs JANE DOE 1 and JANE DOE 2 filed
suit against MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT (“Defendant” or “District”).
On October 24, 2022, Plaintiffs A.A. and B.A filed their
amended complaint (FAC).
On February 15, 2023, the court heard oral argument on
Defendant’s demurrer, which it sustained with leave to amend.
On March 17, 2023, Defendant filed its answer.
On May 28, 2024, the instant application was filed.
On June 26, 2024, the District filed a notice of non-receipt
of an opposition to its application.
Discussion
The District moves for an order granting pro hac vice
admission of the New York attorney Danielle Pascale, of Tyson & Mendes LLP,
an attorney licensed in the State of New York, to appear on its behalf pro hac
vice, along with California counsel, Harry W. Harrison, in the above-entitled
matter.
Here, as all procedural requirements of CRC Rule 3.1200, et
seq. and Rule 9.40, et seq. have been met, including proper notice of this
application and submission of this application with the required fees to the
State Bar of California, the court grants the application.
Conclusion
Based on the foregoing, the application is granted.[1]
