            Plaintiff alleges that Defendants, its two former officers, engaged in direct competition with Plaintiff while still employed by Plaintiff, and induced multiple employees to resign from their employment with Plaintiff to go to work for a direct competitor in which Defendant Haensich has a direct pecuniary interest. 

On August 2, 2024, the Court entered the judgment on special verdict against Defendant Hardy Haenisch in the sum of $945,600.00 and in favor of Defendant Christina Suen against whom Plaintiff recovered nothing. 

Defendants Hardy Haensich and Christina Suen move to tax Plaintiff’s memorandum of costs. 

TENTATIVE RULING          

For the first time in the Reply, Defendants present detailed argument as to why certain items should be taxed. Plaintiff will be given an opportunity to file a sur-reply to address these new arguments.

The hearing on Defendants Hardy Haensich and Christina Suen’s motion to tax Plaintiff’s memorandum of costs is CONTINUED to December 6, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. Plaintiff’s sur-reply is due November 22, 2024.
