Plaintiffs are minors who allege that they were sexually abused, harassed and molested at the hands of Los Angeles County Deputy Probation Officers and employees while they were detained and confined at Defendant County of Los Angeles’ Probation Department facilities.

TENTATIVE RULING
The Court has reviewed the application for pro hac vice admission. The application does not address one of the factors specified in Rule of Court 9.40: specifically, the application does not state that the applicant is not regularly engaged in substantial business, professional or other activities in the State of California. (Cal. R. Ct. 9.40(a)(3).)
The hearing on the applications of
Attorney Rachal Garcia Rojas, Esq. for admission pro hac vice as counsel for
Plaintiffs John VB1-A Doe, et al., is CONTINUED to April 28, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. for
submission of a supplemental declaration addressing the above-identified
deficiency. Supplemental declaration is due April 25, 2023.
