Plaintiff’s Motion filed December 16, 2022, to Compel Further Responses

The law requires specificity in objections. With the exception of defendant’s responses to requests for admission Nos. 16 and 40, defendant’s boilerplate objections lack merit and do not excuse defendant’s obligation to comply with plaintiff’s requests for admissions. Indeed, defendant’s boilerplate objections disserve defendant because meritorious objections do exist for some of the requests for admission, but defendant did not raise them, thus waiving them. As for requests for admission Nos. 16 and 40, defendant properly objected they are compound, and thus defendant need not answer them. For the other 46 requests for admission, defendant must provide further code compliant responses without objection within 10 days of this order.

The court orders defendant to pay plaintiff $2,310 in discovery sanctions (6 hrs x $375/hr + $60 filing fee) within 30 days of this order.
