The Motion for Order Granting Leave to Take an Additional Physical Examination of Plaintiff, filed by Defendants on 7/25/22, is DENIED.

It is undisputed here that Plaintiff has not put her hearing “in controversy” in this case – instead it is the defense which wishes to do so. That does not suffice to show good cause for an order compelling an additional examination of Plaintiff as requested here. (See Vinson v. Sup.Ct. (Peralta Comm. College Dist.) (1987) 43 Cal.3d 833, 839-840 and C.C.P. § 2032.020(a).)  The Motion is therefore denied.
