TENTATIVE RULING:

Counsel Charles J. Brash’s Motion to be Relieved as Counsel for defendant Lisa Lacy is taken OFF-CALENDAR due to the filing of a Substitution of Attorney form for defendant Lacy.

Counsel Charles J. Brash’s Motion to be Relieved as Counsel for defendant Jody Adams is GRANTED CONDITIONALLY, subject to counsel’s provision of a proposed order in compliance with Rule of Court 3.1362(e). No later than two (2) court days from this hearing, counsel is ordered to lodge a proposed order on Judicial Counsel Form MC-053 for the Court’s signature. Counsel shall complete items 7 and 9 concerning the scheduled Final Status Conference and trial, which are respectively scheduled for October 20, 2023 (9:30 a.m.) and October 30, 2023 (9:00 a.m.) in Department 72 of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.

Once the Court signs the proposed order, counsel will be relieved effective upon the filing of the proof of service of the signed order upon the client.
