Defendant, Southern California Healthcare System, Inc. dba Southern California Hospital at Culver City’s moves 1) to compel further responses to Requests for Admission and 2) to compel responses to No. 17.1 of its 2^nd set of Form Interrogatories.  Plaintiff filed no opposition to either motion. 

Motion to compel further responses to Requests for Admission

            The Court grants the motion pursuant to Code of Civ. Proc. § 2033.290 and orders Plaintiff, Jens Frederick Larson to provide verified further responses to the requests for admission compliant with Code of Civ. Proc. §§ 2033.220 220 without objections by September 26, 2020.

            Defendant, Southern California Healthcare System, Inc. dba Southern California Hospital at Culver City’s requests monetary sanctions totaling $1,260.  The Court awards sanctions pursuant to Code of Civ. Proc. § 2023.030 (a) and Code of Civ. Proc. § 2033.290 (d) in the amount of $690. calculated as follows: 3 hours x $210 + $60

Motion to compel responses to Form Interrogatory No. 17.1

The Court grants the motion pursuant to Code of Civ. Proc. § 2030.300 and orders Plaintiff, Jens Frederick Larson to provide verified responses to the interrogatories compliant with Code of Civ. Proc. §§ 2030.210  and 2030.220 without objections by September 26, 2020.          

Defendant, Southern California Healthcare System, Inc. dba Southern California Hospital at Culver City’s requests monetary sanctions totaling $1,365. The Court awards sanctions pursuant to Code of Civ. Proc. § 2023.030(a) and Code of Civ. Proc. § 2030.300(d) in the amount of $270, calculated as follows:1 hour x $210 + $60.
