TENTATIVE RULING

Status Conference regarding Default Judgment Packet is continued to August 28, 2023, at 8:30 AM in Department 71 at Stanley Mosk Courthouse for the following reasons:

1.     Plaintiff Violet Lin calculates interest to be $308,469.26. ($1,000,000 x .12 = $120,000 annual interest accrual. $120,000/365 = $328.77 daily interest accrual. 923 days x 328.77.) Using this same formula, the interest comes to $303,454.71.

2.     Plaintiff Jenny Wu calculates interest to be $601,639.95 ($2,000,000 x .12 = $240,000 annual interest accrual. 240,000/365 = $657.53 daily interest accrual. 915 days x 657.53.) Using this same formula, the interest comes to $601,643.83.
