Plaintiff Circa 1200, LLC’s Request for Default Judgment

          Having considered all documents submitted in support of a default judgment, the Court rules as follows:

 

Background

On August 8, 2024, Circa 1200, LLC (“Plaintiff”) filed its operative Complaint against Defendants Raphael Camren Rodney aka Raphael C. Rodney and Creashia Paulann Keith aka Creashia P. Keith aka Creashia Keith for breach of contract and common counts.

On October 7, 2024, the clerk entered default against Creashia Paulann Keith aka Creashia P. Keith aka Creashia Keith. On October 31, 2024, the clerk entered default against Raphael Camren Rodney aka Raphael C. Rodney.  On December 16, 2024, Plaintiff filed a Request for Court Judgment to be heard on January 10, 2025.

 

Party’s Request

Plaintiff requests the Court to enter a default judgment against Defendants and award Plaintiff a judgment of $100,983.25 consisting of $84,112.90 in damages; $15,670.35 in prejudgment interest at a rate of 10%; $697.00 in attorneys’ fees; and $503.00 in costs.

 

Discussion

Plaintiff submitted a completed default judgment packet, with all applicable attachments. The Court finds sufficient evidence to justify the requested award and grants Plaintiff Circa 1200, LLC’s request in full.

 

Conclusion

The application for default judgment filed on December 16, 2024, is granted.  Judgment of $100,983.25 is entered against Defendants Raphael Camren Rodney aka Raphael C. Rodney and Creashia Paulann Keith aka Creashia P. Keith aka Creashia Keith.

Plaintiff is ordered to give notice of this ruling.
