be heard, the Court will call the matter at 11:00 a.m.
The matter is on calendar for a Case
Management Conference (CMC). The Court
notes Plaintiff filed a proof of service indicating service on the defendant
was made on November 14, 2024, such that Defendant’s responsive pleading is not
yet due.
The Court continues the CMC and
sets a hearing on an Order to Show Cause why the complaint should not be
dismissed and/or Plaintiff’s counsel sanctioned $250 for Plaintiff’s failing to
request entry of default against the defendant (see California Rules of Court,
Rule 3.110(g)) on February 20, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
Plaintiff is to give notice of this
ruling.
