Plaintiff Flowing NRG, Inc.’s Request for Default Judgment

          Having considered all documents submitted in support of a default judgment, the Court rules as follows:

 

Background

On September 25, 2024, Flowing NRG, Inc. (“Plaintiff”) filed its operative Complaint against Defendant Universally Unknown, LLC for breach of contract and common counts.

On December 23, 2024, the clerk entered default against Defendant.  On January 3, 2025, Plaintiff filed a Request for Court Judgment to be heard on January 29, 2025.

 

Party’s Request

Plaintiff requests the Court to enter a default judgment against Defendant and award Plaintiff a judgment of $63,529.99 consisting of $50,000.00 in damages; $11,136.99 in interest at an annual rate of 10%; $1,890.00 in attorneys’ fees, and $503.00 in costs.

 

Discussion

Plaintiff submitted a completed default judgment packet, with all applicable attachments. The Court finds sufficient evidence to justify the requested award and grants Plaintiff’s request in full.

 

Conclusion

The application for default judgment filed on January 3, 2025, is granted.  Judgment of $63,529.99 is entered against Defendant Universally Unknown, LLC.

Plaintiff is ordered to give notice of this ruling.
