Plaintiffs Porsche Leasing Ltd.’s and Porsche Financial Services, Inc.’s  Request for Default Judgment

 

          Having considered all documents submitted in support of a default judgment, the Court rules as follows:

 

Background

On December 20, 2024, Plaintiffs Porsche Leasing Ltd. and Porsche Financial Services, Inc. (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) filed their operative Complaint for possession of personal property, deficiency judgment, foreclosure of security interest with deficiency judgment, and breach of express written contract against Defendants Hemita Group, Inc. and Eduard Ovanesyan (collectively, “Defendants”).

On March 4, 2025, the clerk entered default against Defendants. On March 19, 2025, Plaintiff filed Requests for Court Judgment to be heard on April 24, 2025.

 

Party’s Request

Plaintiffs requests the Court to enter a default judgment against Defendants and award Plaintiffs a judgment of $173,642.08 consisting of $160,315.12 in damages, $9,135.76 in prejudgment interest at the annual rate of 10%, $3,493.15 in attorneys’ fees, and $698.05 in costs.

 

Discussion

Plaintiffs submitted a completed default judgment packet, with all applicable attachments. The Court finds sufficient evidence to justify the requested award and grants Plaintiffs’ request in full.

 

Conclusion

The application for default judgment filed on March 19, 2025, is granted.  Judgment of $173,642.08 is entered against Defendants Hemita Group, Inc. and Eduard Ovanesyan.

Plaintiff is ordered to give notice of this ruling.
