Pursuant to San Diego Superior Court Rule 4.23.7, the court's tentative ruling is as follows: The motion to be relieved as counsel is granted pursuant to CCP § 284(2). Counsel shall be relieved as counsel of record for Velma Norene Herrera, effective upon the filing of proof of service of the signed order upon the client as well as all parties who have appeared in this case.

The court acknowledges that the proposed order was filed late and there is no indication that it was served. Nonetheless, the court will excuse these defects because there has been adequate notice based on service of the other moving papers.

The court anticipates signing the proposed order at the hearing.
