BACKGROUND

            On January 17, 2023, Plaintiffs Cornelia Rosales, Jose Juventino Rosales, and Jose Alfredo Rosales filed this landlord-tenant action against Defendant Vermont City Lights LP. Defendant filed an answer on March 9, 2023. On March 20, 2023, Plaintiffs filed the instant demurrer and motion to strike, arguing that the answer fails to state facts sufficient to constitute a defense and that Defendant filed an unverified answer without proper specific denials. Defendant filed an amended verified answer on April 13, 2023.

CONCLUSION

            The demurrer and motion are moot as Defendant has filed an amended answer.
