Judge: David A. Hoffer, Case: 30-2022-1247659, Date: 2022-09-19 Tentative Ruling

The court, having considered the briefs submitted by the parties pursuant to the court’s 8/11/2022 order regarding appointment of a discovery referee, as well as the status of the discovery motions on the court’s docket, finds no exceptional circumstances making it necessary to appoint a referee at the present time.

Given the complexity of the issues in this matter along with the newly related case filed by Sunwest Bank, the court may revisit the appointment of a referee should future circumstances make it necessary.

Regarding the discovery motions set for hearing on 10/3/2022, the parties are ordered to submit a joint status report 7 days before the hearing advising the court of which matters remain in dispute.

GAIC is ordered to give notice of this ruling.
