The motions of plaintiff Immigrant Rights Defense Council, Inc. for orders (1) compelling a response to the first set of requests for production, (2) deeming the matters in the first set of requests for admissions admitted, and (3) compelling a response to the first set of form interrogatories are MOOT (except for the issue of monetary sanctions) because responses to the discovery have been served. 

Because defendant did not serve responses prior to these motions being made (and provides no substantial justification for the delay), a total monetary sanction of $2680.00 is imposed against defendant Afridi payable to plaintiff through its counsel within 60 days.
