Judge: Deborah C. Servino, Case: 30-2022-01247671, Date: 2023-08-04 Tentative Ruling

The motion of Aarin A. Zeif and Michael A. Gould from The Gould Law Firm, to be relieved as counsel for Defendants/Cross-Complainants Ace Restoration & Construction, Cheree Nichelle Fay, and Shelby Lynn Cordova, is granted.

Upon the signing of the order, The Gould Law Firm shall serve the signed order on Ace Restoration & Construction, Inc., Cheree Nichelle Fay, and Shelby Lynn Cordova and all parties.  The Gould Law Firm will be relieved as counsel for Ace Restoration & Construction, Cheree Nichelle Fay, and Shelby Lynn Cordova effective upon the filing of the proof of service of the signed order upon the clients and all parties.   

Ace Restoration & Construction cannot represent itself. It must seek legal representation and have counsel file a substitution of counsel form. Failure to retain an attorney may lead to striking the pleadings, among other things.

The court therefore sets a status conference re: counsel for Ace Restoration & Construction for October 13, 2023, at 9 am in Department C21.

The Gould Law Firm shall give notice of the ruling.
