TENTATIVE RULING:

Motion to Continue Trial.

Defendant Mir Baquar Ali, M.D. move for a trial continuance.  For the following reasons, the unopposed motion is GRANTED.

Defendant has shown good cause sufficient to justify a trial continuance, the parties agree to a continuance, and there is no evidence of any prejudice that any party would suffer as a result of the continuance.  (See CRC 3.1332(c) and (d).)

The currently-scheduled trial date of May 8, 2023, is CONTINUED to January 16, 2024,  at 9:00 a.m. in Department N16.

The Pretrial Conference scheduled for May 5, 2023, is CONTINUED to January 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in Department N16. 

All discovery and motion deadlines, including expert designation, is CONTINUED pursuant to Code.
