TENTATIVE RULING:

Defendant 33 Degrees, LLC (“33D”) moves to strike the punitive damages allegations in Plaintiff’s complaint.  For the reasons set forth below, the motion is CONTINUED to 1/19/23 at 9:00 a.m. in this Department.

A Motion to Compel Arbitration, filed by Defendant Partners Personnel-Management Services, LLC, is set for hearing on 1/19/23.  If the Motion to Compel Arbitration is granted, then that may eliminate, or stay, the need for the Court to rule on 33D’s Motion to Strike Punitive Damages.

The Motion is continued to 1/19/23 at 9:00 a.m. in this Department to trail behind the Motion to Compel Arbitration.
