I.                   Moving Party’s Position and Analysis

            Plaintiffs’ California counsel, Gene Shioda, has filed a renewal of the pro hac vice status of Ohio Attorneys Andrew R. Young and D.J. Young III and Minnesota Attorney Stephanie A. Ball. The declarations of these attorneys filed in support of their application for renewal of their pro hac vice status comply with the requirements of Cal. Rules of Court Rule 9.40. Their applications include (1) the applicants’ residences and office addresses; (2) the courts to which the applicants have been admitted to practice and the dates of admission; (3) that the applicants are licensees in good standing in those courts; (4) that the applicants are not currently suspended or disbarred in any court; and (5) the name, address, and telephone number of the active licensee (Gene Shioda) of the State Bar of California who is the attorney of record. (See Cal. Rules of Court Rule 9.40(d).)

            The applications have also included proof that the State Bar of California approved their pro hac vice applications and proof that the applicants paid the fee for application. Accordingly, their applications for renewal should be approved.

II.                Order

1.      Plaintiffs’ applications for the renewal of pro hac vice of Attorneys Andrew R. Young, D.J. Young, and Stephanie A. Ball are approved.
