Motion to be Relieved as Counsel
Jon-Paul
Chevalier vs. Walker Patterson Inman, III; 21STCV07843
Moving
Party: Counsel for Walker Patterson Inman, III
Motion
to be Relieved as Counsel
Doron F. Eghbali
and Theodore J. Feldsher of Law Advocate Group, LLP, counsel of record for Defendant
Walker Patterson Inman, III, seek to be relieved as counsel for that party. Counsel’s
declaration states that that there are “irreconcilable differences between
client and attorney.” No party opposes the motion.
Absent a showing
of resulting prejudice, an attorney’s request for withdrawal should be
granted. (People v. Prince (1968) 268 Cal.App.2d 398,
406.) There is no indication that Defendant would be prejudiced by the
withdrawal. Counsel’s motion complies with California Rules of Court, Rule
3.1362. Procedurally, the motions meet all the requirements, and the
counsel have filed proof indicating that the notice and declaration were served
on Defendant and Plaintiff’s counsel of record.
The unopposed
motion to be relieved as counsel is GRANTED.
Moving party to give notice.
