            Plaintiffs Melissa Penuela and Roy Penuela’s Notice of Related Case

            Plaintiffs Melissa Penuela and Roy Penuela filed a notice of related case for this case and Melissa Penuela v. Luke Banham, et al., No. 22STCV24816.  Both cases are similar landlord/tenant disputes regarding an apartment at 1200 S. Figueroa St. in Los Angeles.  All parties to the second case are also parties to the first case.  The cases would require substantial duplication of judicial resources if heard by different judges.

The court finds the cases are related.  Melissa Penuela v. Luke Banham, et al., No. 22STCV24816, is hereby reassigned to Department 52 at Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
