TENTATIVE RULING

The Court is inclined to CONDITIONALLY GRANT the Parties’ Motion for Preliminary Approval of Class Action Settlement CONTINGENT on the filing and service of declarations disclosing any interest or involvement (or lack thereof) by any Counsel or party in the governance or work of the cy pres recipient.  If the parties file such declarations by 3 pm on February 27, 2025 with a courtesy copy to Department 9, the Court will UNCONDITIONALLY GRANT the Parties’ Motion for Preliminary Approval of Class Action Settlement at the February 28, 2025 hearing.  Otherwise, the motion may have to be continued further.
