The petition is denied on the ground that Petitioner is a registered sex offender and has not demonstrated that granting the petition is in the best interest of justice and will not adversely affect the public safety. 

In addition, Petitioner is a seeking to change Petitioner’s name to a celebrity’s name “Ryan Reynolds.”   (See  Weingand v. Lorre (1964) 231 Cal.App.2d 289 [affirming denial of name change to a celebrity name].)
