The petition is CONTINUED TO January 29, 2024 at 9:00 am on the ground that Petitioner has failed to file proof of service on the other parent, or a declaration that sufficiently explains why such service could not be made.  The declaration that has been filed fails to adequately explain whether Petitioner still has the father’s address or whether there are mutual friends who know the minor’s father’s whereabouts such that Petitioner could personally serve the father with a copy of the petition.  No later than two weeks prior to the continued hearing, Petitioner must file proof of service on the other parent or a declaration explaining why such service could not be made.  Court Clerk to give notice.
