As set forth in the January 29, 2024 minute order, Petitioner Jerome Eady Jr. has filed numerous petitions for change of name within a span of five days, including petition numbers 23STCP04233, 23STCP04254, 23STCP04278, and 23STCP04486.

This Court (Department 26, Judge Elaine Lu) signed an order on January 22, 2024 changing Petitioner's name to James Hachimara Davis Russell in 23STCP04278.  Therefore, the instant petition (23STCP04486) is inaccurate in representing that Petitioner's name is Jerome Eady Jr.  Thus, the Court noted that it was inclined to deny the petition without prejudice as an inaccurate present name was not identified on the petition and that any opposition to the denial had to be filed by February 20, 2024.  No opposition has been filed.  Accordingly, the instant petition is DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE.
