On April 16, 2025, Defendants filed a Notice of Related Cases seeking to relate a number of civil actions to the instant action.  One of the listed cases in the Notice of Related Cases is Jacinto v. Airport Terminal Services, Inc. Total Airport Services, LLC and Alliance Ground International, LLC, 23STCV27736, which is a class action also pending in the Los Angeles Superior Court.

California Rules of Court, Rule 3.300(d) requires that “[t]he Notice of Related Cases must be filed in all pending cases listed in the notice and must be served on all parties in those cases.”.)

A review of the docket for the Jacinto case (23STCV27736) reveals that Defendants have never filed the notice of related cases in Jacinto as required.  Hence, Defendants have failed to comply with Rule 3.300(d).

Defendants are ordered to file their Notice of Related Cases and serve all parties in the Jacinto case (23STCV27736) by no later than May 7, 2025.  After Defendants comply with Rule 3.300(d), this Court will defer to Department 7, which has the older case, to rule on the Notice of Related Cases.

A Non-Appearance Case Review re ruling on Notice of Related Cases is set for June 9, 2025 at 8:30 am in Department 9.

On the Court’s own motion, Defendants’ Demurrer and Motion to Strike, currently set for April 30, 2025, is CONTINUED to June 18, 2025 at 8:30 am.
