Safaie, Esq.’s Motion to be Relieved as Counsel for Khalilnassab

Attorney Majid Safaie moves to be relieved as counsel for Kamran Khalilnassab. The motion, proposed order, and supporting declaration are on the proper judicial council forms, and the attached proof of service indicates the client and opposing counsel were served.

Counsel states client has become non-cooperative, there has been a breakdown in communication, and client has failed to perform his obligations under the retainer agreement. Declaration pg. 1. These are valid bases for withdrawal. In addition, since there are no substantive hearings currently scheduled, the client is unlikely to suffer meaningful prejudice if the motion is granted. The motion is unopposed. GRANTED.
