Defendants’ Ex Parte Notice of Motion to Stay Execution (Cal. Code of Civ. Proc. §663)

Defendants move to stay execution of the order granting summary judgment. The motion is duplicative of the motion to vacate heard and rejected on November 1, 2023. It seeks the same relief and is based on essentially the same arguments regarding the bankruptcy stay, the chain of title and the Debrunner case. In effect words, this is a motion for reconsideration under Cal. Code of Civ. Proc. §1008. Defendants present no new facts or law, and no basis for the court to reconsider a ruling that has already been considered and confirmed multiple times. DENIED.
