Plaintiff Rivera’s Motion to Consolidate

Plaintiff Alis Margareta Rivera, in pro per, sues defendants Ascencia, Healthcare in Action, BlockbyBlock and Stepup/Bhot for civil harassment and personal injury. Plaintiff moves to consolidate this action with previously dismissed small claims actions 24BHSC01414 and 24BHSC01619 under Cal. Code Civ. Proc. §1048(a). No opposition was filed.

When actions involving a common question of law or fact are pending before the court, it may order a joint hearing or trial of any or all the matters in issue in the actions; it may order all the actions consolidated and it may make such orders concerning proceedings therein as may tend to avoid unnecessary costs or delay. Cal. Code Civ. Proc. §1048(a).

Case no. 24BHSC01619 Rivera v. Santangelo, was dismissed without prejudice by Commr. Pamela A. Davis on 10/4/24.

Case no. 24BHSC01414 Rivera v. Luz Security Ambassador was deemed not related to the instant matter within the meaning of California Rules of Court 3.300(a) on 10/8/24. See Min. Order 10/8/24. 24BHSC01414 was subsequently dismissed without prejudice by Commr. Davis on 11/15/24.

The court cannot relate dismissed cases to an open matter. DENIED.
