Defendants Hannaford and Margolin’s Petition to Confirm Arbitration Award (UNOPPOSED)

Blair sued, alleging defendants’ home was not as advertised. The parties were ordered to binding arbitration on July 29, 2019. Defendants Hannaford and Margolin move to confirm the award by arbitrator Judy Lam.

Defendants submitted a copy of the arbitration award entered April 29, 2024. Unless a petition or response seeking to correct or vacate an arbitration award was filed properly based on valid grounds or the proceeding is dismissed, courts must enter judgment in conformity with the award. Code Civ. Proc. sec. 1286; Valsan Partners Ltd. Partnership v. Calcor Space Facility (1994) 25 Cal.App.4th 809, 818. 

Blair did not file a petition to correct or vacate or file a response/opposition to the petition. GRANTED.
